She then spent the following 10 years as an adjunct at several colleges in the Chicago area including Judson University. She is currently working as a Photo Equipment Circulation Manager in the Photo Department of The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Here, Sarah manages 50 student workers between three Media Centers. As a part of the Photo Department staff, Sarah is an advocate for purchasing photography equipment that will support the curriculum as well as keep SAIC in line with industry standards.
Outside of SAIC, Sarah is a Fine Art Photographer making images that focus on identity.
On her Judson education Sarah says, “Judson equipped me with the tools to work hard and continually motivate myself with my personal practice by asking myself, ‘What if…’. Having smaller sized classes gave us more one on one time with faculty and prepared me for graduate school.”
